The Honda Civic EP3 was just an engine swap away from being a real hot hatch. The shop told me they're identical, but in the FAQ's, it says the EP3 motor is rated at 212 hp while the DC5 motor is rated at 217 hp. Does anyone know what makes them different? I did some optional stuff (Type-S oil pump, RBC intake manifold) to make it better, but the stock swap would be pretty easy. You can use the ep3 harness, just change over a few sensors and extend a couple wires. I still have the 5 speed and I wish I had another gear for highway driving. 8X5n.
